इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत शान्तिपर्वके अन्तर्गत मोक्षधर्मपर्वमें उज्छवृत्तिका उपाख्यानविषयक तीन सौ उनसठवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ ॥/ ३५९ ॥/ ऑपन-माज बछ। अकाल षष्ट्याधिकत्रिशततमो< ध्याय: पत्नीके धर्मयुक्त वचनोंसे नागराजके अभिमान एवं रोषका नाश और उनका ब्राह्मणको दर्शन देनेके लिये उद्यत होना नाग उवाच अथ ब्राह्मणरूपेण कं तं॑ समनुपश्यसि । मानुषं केवल विप्रं देवं वाथ शुचिस्मिते
Nāga uvāca: atha brāhmaṇarūpeṇa kaṃ taṃ samanupaśyasi | mānuṣaṃ kevalaṃ vipraṃ devaṃ vātha śucismite ||
နာဂါက ပြော၏— «အပြစ်ကင်းသန့်ရှင်း၍ နူးညံ့စွာ ပြုံးတတ်သော မိန်းမရေ၊ ဗြာဟ္မဏ ရုပ်သဏ္ဌာန်ဖြင့် အဲဒီမှာ မင်းမြင်တွေ့ခဲ့သူက ဘယ်သူနည်း။ အဲဒီဗြာဟ္မဏက လူသာလား၊ သို့မဟုတ် တကယ်တမ်း နတ်ဒေဝတစ်ပါးလား?»
