अध्याय २९७ — श्रेयः, धृति, दान-नियमाः
Welfare, Steadfastness, and Norms of Giving
न चैशि: पुण्यकर्माणो युज्यन्ते चाभिसंधिजै: । एवंविधैश्व बहुभिरपरै: प्राकृतेरपि,पुण्यकर्म करनेवाले मनुष्य इस तरहके उपायोंसे प्राण नहीं देते तथा ऐसे-ऐसे दूसरे अधम उपायोंसे भी उनकी मृत्यु नहीं होती
na caiśiḥ puṇyakarmāṇo yujyante cābhisaṃdhijaiḥ | evaṃvidhaiś ca bahubhir aparaiḥ prākṛter api ||
ပါရာရှရက မိန့်တော်မူသည်– ကုသိုလ်ကောင်းမှု၌ တည်ကြည်သူတို့သည် လှည့်ကွက်၊ အကြံအစည်ဖြင့် တမင်တကာ စီမံထားသော အယုတ်တရားနည်းလမ်းများကြောင့် မသေဆုံးကြ; ထို့ပြင် လောကီသဘာဝမှ ပေါ်ထွန်းလာသော အယုတ်အတိမ်းနည်းလမ်းမျိုးစုံကြောင့်လည်း မပျက်စီးကြ။
