युधिछिर उवाच यदिदं तप इत्याहुरुपवासं पृथग्जना: । एतत् तपो महाराज उताहो कि तपो भवेत्
Yudhiṣṭhira uvāca: yad idaṃ tapa ity āhur upavāsaṃ pṛthag-janāḥ | etat tapo mahārāja utāho kiṃ tapo bhavet ||
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက မေးလျှောက်သည်– “မဟာရာဇာ၊ လူအများက ‘တပ’ ဟု ဆိုသည်မှာ အစာရှောင်ခြင်းကိုသာ ဆိုကြသည်။ အစာရှောင်ခြင်းပင် တကယ်တပ ဖြစ်သလော၊ သို့မဟုတ် တပသည် အခြားတစ်မျိုးရှိသလော။ အခြားရှိလျှင် ထိုတပ၏ အမှန်တကယ် သဘောသဘာဝသည် မည်သို့နည်း” ဟု။
