Wealth, Sacrifice, and Disciplined Giving
अनरहहते यद् ददाति न ददाति यदर्हते । अह्निहपिरिज्ञानाद दानधर्मो5पि दुष्कर:
anarhate yad dadāti na dadāti yadarhate | ajñānāt pātriparijñānād dānadharmo 'pi duṣkaraḥ ||
ဒေဝသ္တာန က ပြောသည်—“လူတစ်ယောက်သည် မထိုက်တန်သူကို ပေးလှူပြီး ထိုက်တန်သူကို မပေးလှူသည့်အခါ များစွာရှိသည်။ ထိုက်တန်သူ/မထိုက်တန်သူကို ခွဲခြားသိမြင်နိုင်ခြင်း မရှိသဖြင့်၊ ဒါနဓမ္မ (လှူဒါန်းခြင်း၏ တာဝန်) ပင်လျှင် ခက်ခဲလာသည်—အကြောင်းမူကား မမှန်ကန်သော ပေးလှူမှုသည် ကုသိုလ်မဟုတ်ဘဲ အပြစ်ကိုပင် ဖြစ်စေနိုင်သည်”။
