धन-यज्ञ-दानविवेकः
Wealth, Sacrifice, and Disciplined Giving
कृच्छाच्च द्रव्यसंहारं कुर्वन्ति धनकारणात् । धनेन तृषितो<बुद्धया भ्रूणहत्यां न बुद्धयते
kṛcchāc ca dravyasaṃhāraṃ kurvanti dhanakāraṇāt | dhanena tṛṣito 'buddhyā bhrūṇahatyāṃ na buddhyate ||
ဓနကိုလိုချင်သော ဆန္ဒကြောင့် လူတို့သည် အလွန်ပင်ပန်းစွာ ပစ္စည်းအမျိုးမျိုးကို စုဆောင်းကြသည်။ သို့သော် ငွေကြေးကို ဆာလောင်သကဲ့သို့ လိုလားသူသည် ဉာဏ်မရှိခြင်းကြောင့် भ्रूဏဟတ္ယာ (သန္ဓေသားသတ်ခြင်း) ကဲ့သို့ အလွန်ကြီးမားသော အပြစ်များတွင်တောင် ပါဝင်မိနိုင်သည်ကို မသိမမြင်တတ်။
