Adhyāya 2: Nārada’s Disclosure—Karṇa’s Training and the Brahmin’s Curse (Śānti-parva)
रामस्तं प्रतिजग्राह पृष्टवा गोत्रादि सर्वश: । उष्यतां स्वागतं चेति प्रीतिमांश्नाभवद् भूुशम्
rāmas taṃ pratijagrāha pṛṣṭvā gotrādi sarvaśaḥ | uṣyatāṃ svāgataṃ ceti prītimān abhavad bhūśam ||
ရာမ (ပရရှုရာမ) သည် သူ့ကို သင့်တော်သောဂုဏ်ပြုမှုဖြင့် လက်ခံကာ၊ အရင်ဆုံး မျိုးရိုးဂိုত্রနှင့် ဆက်စပ်သည့် အချက်အလက်များကို အပြည့်အစုံ မေးမြန်း하였다။ ထို့နောက် တပည့်အဖြစ် လက်ခံ၍ «သားရေ၊ ဒီမှာနေပါ။ ကြိုဆိုပါတယ်» ဟု မိန့်တော်မူ하였다။ ထိုသို့ဆိုပြီးနောက် ဤမုနိသည် သူ့အပေါ် အလွန်ပင် ဝမ်းမြောက်နှစ်သက်하였다—ဤသည်မှာ ဧည့်ဝတ်ပြုမှု၊ သေချာစွာ ခွဲခြားစိစစ်ခြင်းနှင့် ဆရာ–တပည့်သံယောဇဉ်အတွင်း ကရုဏာဖြင့် လက်ခံခြင်းတို့၏ သီလပညာပုံစံတစ်ရပ် ဖြစ်သည်။
