/ ऑपन-माज बछ। -ज:डि द्विषष्ट्याधिकशततमो< ध्याय: सत्यके लक्षण
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | satyaṃ dharmaṃ praśaṃsanti viprarṣipitṛdevatāḥ | satyam icchāmy ahaṃ śrotuṃ tan me brūhi pitāmaha ||
ယုဓိဋ္ဌိရက ပြောသည်— «ဗြာဟ္မဏများ၊ ရှင်သန်မြင်သော ရှင်ရသီများ၊ ဘိုးဘွားပိတೃများနှင့် ဒေဝတားတို့သည် အမှန်တရားပြောခြင်းကို ဓမ္မ၏ပုံသဏ္ဍာန်တစ်ရပ်အဖြစ် ချီးမွမ်းကြသည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် ‘သတ္တယ’ ဟူသည် အမှန်တကယ် ဘာလဲကို ကျွန်ုပ်ကြားလိုသည်—အို အဘိုးကြီး (ပိတామဟ)၊ ထိုအရာကို ကျွန်ုပ်အား ပြောပြပါ»။
