Śaraṇāgata-Atithi-Dharma in the Kapota Narrative (कपोत-आख्यानम्—शरणागतधर्मः)
धर्म तवापि विप्रर्षे शुणु यत् ते ब्रवीम्पहम्
dharmaṃ tavāpi viprarṣe śṛṇu yat te bravīmy aham | manīṣiṇaḥ puruṣā vadanti śvā śṛgālād api adhamaḥ | śuno 'pi śarīre tasya jaṅghā-bhāgaḥ sarvādhamo bhavati ||
ဃပာကာ (Ghapaca) က ပြောသည်—“အို ဗြာဟ္မဏ ရ္ရှိ၊ ငါပြောမည့်အရာကို နားထောင်ပါ။ ဤသည်လည်း သင်အတွက် ဓမ္မသင်ခန်းစာပင် ဖြစ်သည်။ ပညာရှိတို့က ခွေးသည် မြေခွေး (စျာလ) ထက်တောင် နိမ့်ကျသည်ဟု ဆိုကြ၏။ ထို့ပြင် ခွေး၏ ကိုယ်ခန္ဓာအတွင်း၌ပင် ၎င်း၏ ပေါင်ပိုင်းကို အနိမ့်ဆုံးဟု သတ်မှတ်ကြ၏။”
