गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel

न हि शूरा: पलायन्ते शत्रून्‌ दृष्टया कथठ्चन । ब्रृहि वा त्वं यया वृत्त्या शूर त्यजसि संगरम्‌

na hi śūrāḥ palāyante śatrūn dṛṣṭvā kathaṃcana | brūhi vā tvaṃ yayā vṛttyā śūra tyajasi saṅgaram ||

သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «အမှန်တကယ် သူရဲကောင်းတို့သည် ရန်သူကို မြင်လျှင် မည်သို့မျှ မပြေးလွှားကြ။ ထို့ကြောင့် ပြောပါ—သူရဲကောင်းဟု မိမိကိုယ်ကို ခေါ်သူ သင်သည် မည်သည့် အကြောင်းပြချက်၊ မည်သည့် လမ်းစဉ်ဖြင့် စစ်မြေပြင်ကို စွန့်ခွာသနည်း»
