गदायुद्धप्रतिज्ञा — The Vow and Terms of the Mace Duel
स त्वमुत्तिष्ठ युध्यस्व विनीय भयमात्मन: । घातयित्वा सर्वसैन्यं भ्रातृश्वैव सुयोधन
sa tvam uttiṣṭha yudhyasva vinīya bhayam ātmanaḥ | ghātayitvā sarvasainyaṃ bhrātṝś caiva suyodhana ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်– «ထို့ကြောင့် မိမိ၏ နှလုံးသားမှ ကြောက်ရွံ့မှုကို ဖယ်ရှားကာ ထ၍ တိုက်ခိုက်လော့။ အို စုယောဓန၊ သင်သည် ညီအစ်ကိုများနှင့် စစ်တပ်တစ်ရပ်လုံးကို သတ်ဖြတ်စေပြီးနောက်၊ က္ရှတ္တရိယဓမ္မကို အားကိုးထားသူ သင်ကဲ့သို့သောသူအတွက် ‘ဓမ္မကို ပြုလုပ်ခြင်း’ ဟူသော အကြောင်းပြချက်ဖြင့် ယခု အသာတကူ မိမိအသက်ကိုသာ ကယ်တင်လိုစိတ်ကို ထားခြင်း မသင့်တော်»
