अश्वत्थाम-शापः, परिक्षिद्भविष्यत्, मणि-न्यासः
Aśvatthāman’s Curse, Parikṣit’s Future, and the Mani’s Restitution
कृपाच्छारद्वताच्छूर: सर्वास्त्राण्युपपत्स्यते । परीक्षित् तो दीर्घ आयु प्राप्त करके ब्रह्मचर्यपालन एवं वेदाध्ययनका व्रत धारण करेगा और वह शूरवीर बालक शरद्वानके पुत्र कृपाचार्यसे ही सम्पूर्ण अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंका ज्ञान प्राप्त करेगा || १३ $ ।।
vaishampāyana uvāca |
kr̥pāc chāradvatāc chūraḥ sarvāstrāṇy upapatsyate |
viditvā paramāstrāṇi kṣatradharmavrate sthitaḥ ||
ဝိုင်ရှမ္ပာယနက ပြောသည်— «ထိုသူရဲကောင်းကလေးသည် ရှာရဒ္ဝတ်၏ သားဖြစ်သော သတ္တိရှင် ကೃပာထံမှ လက်နက်နှင့် ပစ်လက်နက် အားလုံး၏ ပညာကို အပြည့်အဝ သင်ယူရလိမ့်မည်။ အမြင့်မြတ်ဆုံး လက်နက်များကို ကျွမ်းကျင်သိမြင်ပြီးနောက်၊ က္ෂတ္တရဓမ္မ၏ ဝတ္တရားသစ္စာ၌ တည်ကြည်မည်—အလှအပအတွက် မဟုတ်ဘဲ စည်းကမ်းနှင့် တရားသဖြင့် အုပ်ချုပ်မှုကို ကာကွယ်ရန် ဖြစ်သည်။»
