Karṇa-parva Adhyāya 58 — Arjuna’s Arrow-Storm and Relief of Bhīmasena
तस्य कर्णो महाराज शरं कनकभूषणम् | प्रेषयामास संक्रुद्धों मृत्युदण्डमिवापरम्,महाराज! तब कर्णने अत्यन्त कुपित हो धृष्टद्युम्नपर द्वितीय मृत्युदण्डके समान एक सुवर्ण- भूषित बाण चलाया
tasya karṇo mahārāja śaraṃ kanakabhūṣaṇam | preṣayāmāsa saṃkruddho mṛtyudaṇḍam ivāparam ||
သဉ္ဇယက ပြောသည်—မဟာရာဇာ၊ ထိုအခါ ကာဏ္ဏသည် အမျက်ထန်လျက် ရွှေတန်ဆာဆင်ထားသော မြားတံတစ်စင်းကို သူ့အပေါ်သို့ ပစ်လွှတ်၏—ယမမင်း၏ ဒဏ်တံတစ်ချောင်းကို ထပ်မံမြင်ရသကဲ့သို့။ ဤကဗျာသည် စစ်မြေပြင်၏ သာသနာဓမ္မအလေးချိန်ကို မြှင့်တင်ကာ အမျက်သည် စစ်ပညာကို ယမ၏ အပြစ်ဒဏ်ကဲ့သို့သော ကိရိယာအဖြစ် ပြောင်းလဲစေကြောင်းကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
