अम्बरीषगाथा—गुणत्रयविभागः तथा लोभनिग्रहः
Ambarīṣa’s Gāthā: The Guṇas and the Restraint of Greed
तस्मादेत॑ सम्यगवेक्ष्य लोभ॑ निगृहा धृत्या55त्मनि राज्यमिच्छेत् । एतदू राज्यं नान्यदस्तीह राज्य- मात्मैव राजा विदितो यथावत्
tasmād etat samyag avekṣya lobhaṁ nigṛhya dhṛtyā ātmani rājyam icchet | etad eva rājyam nānyad astīha rājyam ātmā eva rājā vidito yathāvat ||
ထို့ကြောင့် လောဘ၏ သဘောသဘာဝကို မှန်ကန်စွာ စိစစ်နားလည်ပြီး၊ သည်းခံတည်ကြည်မှုဖြင့် ထိုလောဘကို ထိန်းချုပ်ကာ ကိုယ့်အတွင်း၌ အာဏာပိုင်မှု (အတ္တ-ရာဇ္ယ) ကို ရယူလိုစိတ်ထားသင့်သည်။ ဤအရာတည်းသာ အမှန်တကယ်သော မင်းအုပ်မှုဖြစ်သည်။ ဤနေရာ၌ အခြားသော နိုင်ငံတော်မရှိ။ အတ္တ (Self) ကို အမှန်အတိုင်း သိမြင်သည့်အခါ အတ္တတည်းဟူသော မင်းဖြစ်ကြောင်း ထင်ရှားလာသည်။
