Bhūmi-dānasya Māhātmya
The Pre-eminence of Land-Gift
यस्य वै शैशिरे काले तडागे सलिलं भवेत् । तस्याग्निष्टोमयज्ञस्यथ फलमाहुर्मनीषिण:
yasya vai śaiśire kāle taḍāge salilaṁ bhavet | tasyāgniṣṭomayajñasya tathā phalam āhur manīṣiṇaḥ ||
ဘိဿမက ပြောသည်— «လူတစ်ဦး၏ ရေကန်၌ ဆောင်းရာသီတစ်လျှောက် ရေမခန်းဘဲ တည်ရှိနေပါက၊ ပညာရှိတို့က ထိုကောင်းမှု၏ အကျိုးသည် အဂ္နိဋ္ဌောမ (Agniṣṭoma) ယဇ်၏ အကျိုးနှင့် တူညီကြောင်း ဆိုကြသည်။ အခြားသူတို့အတွက် ရေကို ထိန်းသိမ်းပေးခြင်းသည် အသက်ကို ထောက်ပံ့၍ လူထုအကျိုးပြုသော ဓမ္မကောင်းမှုအဖြစ် မြတ်နိုးတင်မြှောက်ထားသည်။»
