Pāṇḍu’s Funeral Rites and Public Mourning
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत आदिपव॑के अन्तर्गत सम्भवपर्वमें धृतराष्ट्रपुत्रनामवर्णणविषयक एक सौ सोलहवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraḥ Śrīmahābhārate Ādiparvaṇi antargata-sambhava-parvaṇi Dhṛtarāṣṭra-putra-nāma-varṇana-viṣayaka eka-śata-ṣoḍaśatamaḥ adhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
ဤသို့ဖြင့် သန့်ရှင်းမြတ်နိုးအပ်သော မဟာဘာရတ၌ အာဒီပရဝ (Ādi-parvan) အတွင်းရှိ သမ္ဘဝပရဝ (Sambhava-parvan) ၏ တစ်ရာတစ်ဆယ့်ခြောက်မြောက် အခန်းသည် ပြီးဆုံးလေ၏။ ဤအခန်းသည် ဓೃತရာရှ္ဌရ (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) ၏ သားတော်တို့၏ အမည်များကို ဖော်ပြ၍ ရေတွက်သတ်မှတ်ခြင်းကို အကြောင်းအရာပြုသည်။ ဤကော်လိုဖွန်သည် အပိုင်းတစ်ခု၏ တရားဝင်အဆုံးသတ်ကို အမှတ်အသားပြုကာ၊ နောင်လာမည့် သီလနှင့် နိုင်ငံရေးဆိုင်ရာ အကျိုးဆက်များ၏ အခြေခံဖြစ်သော မျိုးရိုးဇာတိစာရင်းကို တိတိကျကျ မှတ်တမ်းတင်ထားခြင်း၏ အရေးပါမှုကို ထင်ဟပ်စေသည်။
