Text: Affirms that the upcoming stotra is rooted in Vedic tradition.
Text: Sages often ask questions they already know the answers to, acting as instruments to bring divine knowledge into the world for the benefit of humanity.
It is 'Vedoktam' (stated in the Vedas) and 'Sarvamangalam' (all-auspicious).
Narayana playfully notes that Narada is already omniscient (sarvam janasi), yet asks these questions for the benefit and prosperity of the world.
