Application: Choose the correct Vedic form for Śrī-invocation based on the officiant’s śākhā and the rite (homa, śānti, āśīrvāda).

It indexes where Śrī-related mantras occur in the Vedas—especially Yajurvedic mantra-incipits and the Sāmavedic Srāvantīya chant—useful for selecting correct recitations in prosperity-oriented rites.
Rather than giving a single ritual, it functions like a catalog: it cross-references named Vedic passages (Yajus and Sāman) connected with Śrī, showing the Agni Purāṇa’s compendium-style mapping of sacred literature.
By directing the practitioner to authoritative Vedic Śrī-mantras, it frames prosperity-seeking as dhārmic—aligned with śruti-based recitation—thereby supporting merit (puṇya) through correct mantra usage.
