မန္တရားတစ်ပုဒ်သည် စိဒ္ဓိ ပြည့်စုံအောင် အောင်မြင်ပြီး (လက်တွေ့တွင် ထိရောက်ကြောင်း သက်သေပြပြီး) သောအခါမှသာ ထိုမန္တရားကို ပေးအပ်နိုင်သည်။ တပည့်သည် ဆရာ၏ အာဏာအောက်တွင် ထိုမန္တရားကို တစ်ထောင်ကြိမ် ဂျပ (ထပ်ခါထပ်ခါ ရွတ်) ရမည်။ သို့သော် မတော်တဆ ကြားသိရသော မန္တရားကို—လှည့်ကွက်ဖြင့်ဖြစ်စေ အင်အားသုံး၍ဖြစ်စေ—မှန်ကန်စွာ လက်ခံရရှိသည့်အဖြစ် မယူဆရ။
