Lord Agni (instructing a protective/prayoga-style formula within the Agni Purana’s instructional narration)
Vidya Category: {"primary_vidya":"Mantra","secondary_vidya":"Philosophy","practical_application":"Satya-kriyā (truth-act) protective formula: recited to pacify hostile forces (dūṣaṇa, bhūta, abhichāra) by invoking a cosmic truth about Viṣṇu’s pervasion.","sutra_style":true}
Encyclopedic Reference: {"reference_type":"Formula","entry_title":"Viṣṇu-Vyāpti Satya-Śānti Prayoga","lookup_keywords":["satya","Viṣṇu vyāpti","jagat sarvam","śānti","duṣṭa"],"quick_summary":"A truth-formula: because Viṣṇu pervades all beings, that सत्य is invoked to neutralize wicked influences; used as a pacificatory utterance within rakṣā-vidhi."}
Alamkara Type: Arthāntaranyāsa (reasoning by a stated universal principle)
Concept: Vyāpti of the Supreme (sarva-vyāpin Viṣṇu) as ontological truth supporting śānti.

Khanda Section: Mantra-prayoga & Raksha-vidhi (Protective truth-formulae within Puja/Prayoga sections)
Primary Rasa: Shanta
Secondary Rasa: Adbhuta

Audio Atmosphere: {"recitation_mood":"contemplative","suggested_raga":"Yaman","pace":"slow","voice_tone":"instructional"}
Sandhi Resolution Notes: विष्णुर्जगत्सर्वं = विष्णुः + जगत् + सर्वम् (ः + ज → र्; final -t before s). सदेवासुरमानुषं = स + देवासुरमानुषम् (internal compounding).
Related Themes: Agni Purana 31 (satya-based rakṣā formulas continuing in 31.43–31.44)
It teaches a rakṣā/śānti mantra-prayoga that invokes satya-bala (the power of a true statement) grounded in Viṣṇu’s cosmic pervasion to pacify harmful influences.
Beyond mythic narration, it preserves applied liturgical technology—short, functional formulas used for protection and pacification—showing the text’s coverage of practical ritual procedures alongside theology.
It frames protection as arising from alignment with truth (satya) and divine order (Viṣṇu’s all-pervasion), implying that spiritual integrity and right invocation conduce to peace and the cessation of hostile forces.
