यदा न ववृधे तस्य ब्रह्मणो मानसि प्रजा । तदा दध्यौ किमेतन्मे न तथा वर्ध्धते प्रजा ॥
yadā na vavṛdhe tasya brahmaṇo mānasī prajā | tadā dadhyau kim etan me na tathā varddhate prajā ||
Namun apabila zuriat mental (manasa) Brahmā tidak bertambah, baginda merenung: ‘Apakah yang terjadi padaku sehingga zuriat tidak berkembang sebagaimana sepatutnya?’
