Observance of the Auspicious Dvādaśī Vow and the Sacred Account of the Kubjākāmra Tīrtha

तथैव कूर्मत्वमृगत्‍वमुच्चैस् त्वया कृतं रूपमनेक रूप । सर्वज्ञभावादसकृच्छ जन्म संकीर्त्यते तेऽच्युत नैतदस्ति ॥ ५५.३४ ॥

tathaiva kūrmatvamṛgatvam uccais tvayā kṛtaṃ rūpam aneka-rūpa | sarvajñabhāvād asakṛc ca janma saṃkīrtyate te ’cyuta naitad asti || 55.34 ||

“Demikian juga, keadaan sebagai kura-kura dan sebagai binatang—bentuk-bentuk luhur-Mu itu, wahai Yang beraneka rupa—dikatakan telah Engkau ambil. Namun kerana Engkau Maha Mengetahui, sering dilaungkan bahawa Engkau ‘lahir’ berulang kali; wahai Acyuta, hakikatnya bukan demikian.”
