FAQs

It reflects a Purāṇic narrative style in which well-known mythic figures (Nandin and Vīrabhadra) are used to structure episodes of recognition, identification, and decisive action—features common in the transmission of sectarian and pan-Indic myth cycles.

No geographic toponym appears in this verse; it is primarily an action-focused narrative line rather than a sacred-geography marker.

The verse conveys a narrative ethic of discerning identification (recognition of the harmful agent) followed by swift containment; it does not present an explicit prescriptive moral rule in this fragment.
