सनत्कुमार उवाच ॥ भगवञ्छ्रोतुमिच्छामि पुराणमृषिसंस्तुतम् ॥ पुराणं तु महाभाग त्वत्तस्तत्त्वविदां वर
sanatkumāra uvāca || bhagavañ chrotum icchāmi purāṇam ṛṣisaṃstutam || purāṇaṃ tu mahābhāga tvattas tattvavidāṃ vara
Sanatkumāra berkata: “Wahai Bhagavan, aku ingin mendengar Purāṇa yang dipuji para resi—wahai Mahābhāga, yang terbaik antara para mengetahui tattva, Purāṇa itu ingin aku dengar daripada tuan sendiri.”
