Varaha Purana 211.71 — Adhyaya 211, Shloka 71

Methods for the Removal of Sin and the Eulogy of Prabodhinī Ekādaśī/Dvādaśī

आयुरारोग्यसम्पन्नो जन्मातीतो भवेत् ततः ॥ ब्रह्मघ्नश्च सुरापश्च स्तेयी च गुरुतल्पगः ॥

āyurārogyasaṃpanno janmātīto bhavet tataḥ || brahmaghnaś ca surāpaś ca steyī ca gurutalpagaḥ ||

Selepas itu (dia) dikurniai umur panjang dan kesihatan, serta menjadi ‘melampaui kelahiran semula’. Bahkan pembunuh brāhmaṇa, peminum arak memabukkan, pencuri, dan pelanggar ranjang guru (pelanggaran seksual berat) juga termasuk dalam lingkungan keberkesanan yang dinyatakan ini.
