Section on the ‘Person’ who Entices Beings within the Cycle of Rebirth

पुष्पोपगन्धं च फलोपगन्धं यः पादपं स्पर्शयते द्विजाय ॥ स स्त्रीसमृद्धं हि सुरत्नपूर्णं गृहं हि सर्वोपचितं लभेत ॥

puṣpopagandhaṃ ca phalopagandhaṃ yaḥ pādapaṃ sparśayate dvijāya | sa strīsamṛddhaṃ hi suratnapūrṇaṃ gṛhaṃ hi sarvopacitaṃ labheta ||

Sesiapa yang mempersembahkan kepada seorang dvija (dua-kali-lahir) sebatang pohon yang harum bunga dan semerbak buah, dia memperoleh rumah yang makmur dalam rumahtangga, penuh permata indah, serta lengkap dengan segala keperluan.
