Section on the Origin and Procedure of Piṇḍa-Rites (Funerary Offerings) and Donor-Recipient Purification
तत्र चान्नं न विद्येत येन तृप्तिर्भविष्यति ॥ पुनः श्राद्धं त्वया कार्यं पितॄणां तृप्तिदायकम् ॥
tatra cānnaṃ na vidyeta yena tṛptir bhaviṣyati | punaḥ śrāddhaṃ tvayā kāryaṃ pitṝṇāṃ tṛptidāyakam ||
Namun di sana tiada makanan yang dapat menimbulkan kepuasan. Oleh itu engkau hendaklah melaksanakan Śrāddha sekali lagi, yang memberikan kepuasan kepada para leluhur (pitṛ).
