पादसंवाहनं कार्यं प्रेतस्य हितकाम्यया॥ प्रेतभोगशरीरे तु ब्राह्मणस्य च सुन्दरि
pādasaṃvāhanaṃ kāryaṃ pretasya hitakāmyayā || pretabhogaśarīre tu brāhmaṇasya ca sundari
Wahai yang jelita, demi kebajikan preta, hendaklah dilakukan urutan kaki (pādasaṃvāhana); kerana dalam konteks ini tubuh brāhmaṇa berfungsi sebagai ‘bhoga-śarīra’ (tubuh untuk menikmati) bagi preta.
