Determination of the Origin and Procedure of the Ancestral Offering

निष्प्रभेऽस्मिन्निरालोके सर्वतस्तमसावृते ॥ स्रष्टुं वै बुद्धिरुत्पन्ना त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम् ॥

niṣprabhe 'smin nirāloke sarvatas tamasāvṛte || sraṣṭuṁ vai buddhir utpannā trailokyaṁ sacarācaram ||

Tatkala dunia ini tanpa cahaya, tiada sinar, dan di segenap arah diselubungi kegelapan, timbullah tekad untuk mencipta triloka beserta segala yang bergerak dan yang tidak bergerak.
