Determination of the Origin and Procedure of the Ancestral Offering

Pitṛyajña/Śrāddha

पूजयित्वा तु देवांश्च दत्त्वा दानं त्वनेकशः ॥ हुत्वाग्निं विधिवच्चैव स्वर्गं तु लभते नरः

pūjayitvā tu devāṁś ca dattvā dānaṁ tv anekaśaḥ | hutvāgniṁ vidhivac caiva svargaṁ tu labhate naraḥ ||

Setelah memuja para dewa dan berkali-kali bersedekah, serta mempersembahkan ke dalam api menurut tatacara yang benar, seseorang memperoleh syurga.
