Determination of the Origin and Procedure of the Ancestral Offering

एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं विस्तरेण वदस्व मे ॥ श्रीवराह उवाच ॥ साधु भूमे महाभागे यन्मां त्वं परिपृच्छसि ॥
etad icchāmy ahaṁ śrotuṁ vistareṇa vadasva me || śrīvarāha uvāca || sādhu bhūme mahābhāge yan māṁ tvaṁ paripṛcchasi ||
Aku ingin mendengarnya dengan terperinci; jelaskanlah kepadaku. Śrī Varāha bersabda: Sungguh baik, wahai Bumi yang amat berbahagia, kerana engkau bertanya kepadaku demikian.
