Determination of the Origin and Procedure of the Ancestral Offering
Pitṛyajña/Śrāddha
एवमुक्तो मया देवि गृह्य तत्र कमण्डलुम् ॥ उपस्पृश्य शुचिर्भूत्वा ब्रह्मा चोत्पादयन्सुरान् ॥
evam ukto mayā devi gṛhya tatra kamaṇḍalum || upaspṛśya śucir bhūtvā brahmā cotpādayan surān ||
Demikianlah setelah Aku berfirman, wahai Dewi, Brahmā mengambil kamaṇḍalu di sana; setelah melakukan ācaman lalu menjadi suci, beliau pun mulai melahirkan para dewa.
