The Manifestation and Sanctifying Power of the Mathurā Tīrtha
देवस्याग्रे तु वसुधे कूपं तु विमलोदकम् ॥ पितरश्चाभिनन्दन्ति पानीयं पिण्डमेव च ॥
devasyāgre tu vasudhe kūpaṃ tu vimalodakam | pitaraś cābhinandanti pānīyaṃ piṇḍam eva ca ||
Wahai Vasudhā, di hadapan Dewa terdapat sebuah perigi dengan air yang jernih; dan para Pitṛ (leluhur) dikatakan bergembira dengan air minum serta persembahan piṇḍa.
