It exemplifies kṣetra-stuti (praise of a place) as a genre device used to map cultural heritage sites and to anchor devotional practice to geography.
Kokāmukha is explicitly named as a kṣetra; its precise modern identification is uncertain without additional manuscript context and regional toponymic study.
The verse promotes valuing a named heritage landscape (kṣetra) as a focal point for disciplined religious-ethical life, without providing coercive injunctions.
