The Tale of the Vulture and the She-Jackal: The Māhātmya of the Saukarava Sacred Field

सृगाली चैव गृध्रश्च तीर्थस्यैव प्रभावतः ॥ मरणादेव सम्प्राप्य क्षीणपापौ स्मृतिं पुनः ॥

sṛgālī caiva gṛdhraś ca tīrthasyaiva prabhāvataḥ || maraṇād eva samprāpya kṣīṇa-pāpau smṛtiṃ punaḥ

Dengan kuasa tirtha itu sendiri, seekor serigala betina dan seekor burung hering, hanya melalui kematian, memperoleh kembali ingatan setelah dosa-dosanya berkurang.
