अतिथिं चागतं दृष्ट्वा दूराध्वानं गतं क्वचित् ॥ संविभागस्तु कर्त्तव्यो येन केनापि पुत्रक ॥

Apabila melihat seorang tetamu yang tiba, yang telah menempuh perjalanan jauh dari suatu tempat, wahai anak, hendaklah diberikan bahagian (makanan atau keperluan) dengan apa jua cara yang mampu.
