ऋषयः स्तुवन्ति मन्त्रेण वेदोक्तेन च माधवि ॥ गन्धर्वाप्सरसश्चैव गीतनृत्यैः सवादितैः ॥

ṛṣayaḥ stuvanti mantreṇa vedoktena ca mādhavi || gandharvāpsarasaś caiva gītanṛtyaiḥ savāditaiḥ ||

Wahai Mādhavī, para resi memuji-Nya dengan mantra-mantra serta dengan apa yang termaktub dalam Veda; dan para Gandharva serta Apsara juga memuji dengan nyanyian dan tarian, diiringi bunyi alat muzik.
