Varaha Purana 119.12 — Adhyaya 119, Shloka 12

Ritual Regulations on Permissible Foods for Offering and Consumption

एतानि प्रापणे दद्यान्मम चैतत्प्रियावहम् ॥ युञ्जानो वितते यज्ञे ब्राह्मणे वेदपारगे ॥

etāni prāpaṇe dadyān mama caitat priyāvaham || yuñjāno vitate yajñe brāhmaṇe vedapārage |

Pada waktu pengagihan, hendaklah semua ini diberikan sebagai dana; hal ini membawa keredaan bagi-Ku. Apabila yajña diluaskan menurut aturan, hendaklah (pemberian ini) diperuntukkan bagi seorang Brāhmaṇa yang mahir dalam Veda.
