The Eulogy and Procedure of the ‘Honey-Cow’ Gift
Madhudhenudāna
एवं यः कुरुते भक्त्या मधुधेनुं नराधिप ॥ दत्त्वा दानं पायसेन मधुना च दिनं नयेत् ॥
evaṃ yaḥ kurute bhaktyā madhudhenuṃ narādhipa || dattvā dānaṃ pāyasena madhunā ca dinaṃ nayet ||
Demikianlah, wahai penguasa manusia, sesiapa yang melaksanakan amalan Madhu-dhenū dengan bhakti—setelah menunaikan sedekah—hendaklah menghabiskan hari itu dengan bubur susu (pāyasa) dan madu sebagai makanan yang ditetapkan.
