शेषपर्यङ्कशयने सुप्तं देवं जनार्दनम् । दृष्ट्वा तन्नाभिपङ्कस्थमन्तःस्थं च चतुर्मुखम् ॥ कृताञ्जलिपुटा देवी स्तुतिं धात्री जगाद ह ॥ १.१९ ॥
śeṣaparyaṅkaśayane suptaṃ devaṃ janārdanam | dṛṣṭvā tannābhipaṅkastham antaḥsthaṃ ca caturmukham || kṛtāñjalipuṭā devī stutiṃ dhātrī jagāda ha || 1.19 ||
Melihat dewa Janārdana tidur di atas ranjang Śeṣa, dan melihat Yang Bermuka Empat (Brahmā) berada di dalam, bertakhta pada teratai dari pusat-Nya, sang Dewi pun merangkapkan tangan dengan hormat lalu mengucapkan kidung pujian kepada Dhātṛ, Penopang jagat.
