सदाचारो निगदितो युष्माभिर्मम सुव्रताः लक्षणं श्रोतुमिच्ःआमि कथयध्वं तमद्य मे

sadācāro nigadito yuṣmābhirmama suvratāḥ lakṣaṇaṃ śrotumicḥāmi kathayadhvaṃ tamadya me

“Wahai kamu yang berikrar mulia, kamu telah menyampaikan kepadaku tentang sadācāra (tata laku yang benar). Aku ingin mendengar ciri-ciri penentuannya; ceritakanlah itu kepadaku pada hari ini.”
