A ruler (or heir) acts within dharma by placing governance and rites under a qualified brahmarṣi (Vasiṣṭha) before withdrawing; it underscores reverence for śāstra-guided authority and disciplined timing (anadhyāya) in Vedic life.
Vamśānucarita / carita (dynastic or character narrative): it describes conduct and movement of a royal figure, not cosmogenesis or dissolution.
