Type: kshetra
Listener: Bhagavān (Viṣṇu)
Scene: Viṣṇuśarmā, overwhelmed by the Lord’s presence, declares life fulfilled and asks only for unshakable devotion.
The highest boon is not worldly gain but steadfast devotion, which itself becomes the gateway to liberation.
Ayodhyā is the narrative setting; the episode implies the city’s sanctity as conducive to darśana and unwavering bhakti.
No external rite is prescribed; the devotee requests inner continuity of devotion (acalā bhakti) as the spiritual discipline.
