चंद्रावयवसंयुक्तं जटाजूटकपालिनम् । एकीभावं प्रपन्नोहं यथा पूर्वं तथाऽधुना । न मां गौरी प्रपश्येत प्रपश्यामि तथैव च
caṃdrāvayavasaṃyuktaṃ jaṭājūṭakapālinam | ekībhāvaṃ prapannohaṃ yathā pūrvaṃ tathā'dhunā | na māṃ gaurī prapaśyeta prapaśyāmi tathaiva ca
Aku melihat rupa itu dihiasi bulan sabit, berambut jata yang bergumpal, serta membawa mangkuk tengkorak. Aku telah berlindung pada kesatuan ini—seperti dahulu, demikian juga sekarang. Semoga Gaurī tidak memandangku; dan aku pun akan memandangnya dengan cara yang sama (seperti sebelumnya).
