Narrator
Tirtha: Vastrāpatha-kṣetra (narrative setting)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Viṣṇu
Scene: Brahmā urges Viṣṇu to assume Varāha; Viṣṇu expands into the Great Boar form and plunges downward toward the nether realms.
The Lord accepts even formidable, earth-bound forms to lift the fallen world—avatāra is compassion expressed as action.
The glorification is indirect: Vastrāpathakṣetra’s māhātmya uses avatāra narratives to sanctify the Prabhāsa sacred region.
