यथामृतकलाश्चन्द्राद्भुज्यन्ते क्रमशः सुरैः । एवं भागं बलेः कस्मान्न ददाति जलात्मकः

yathāmṛtakalāścandrādbhujyante kramaśaḥ suraiḥ | evaṃ bhāgaṃ baleḥ kasmānna dadāti jalātmakaḥ

Sebagaimana para dewa menikmati bahagian amerta dari Bulan menurut tertibnya—mengapa yang bersifat air itu tidak juga memberikan kepada Bali bahagiannya yang sah?
