tataḥ kāmaḥ samuttasthau suptotthita iva priye | tataḥ prabhṛti talliṃgaṃ kāmeśvaramiti śrutam
Kemudian Kāma bangkit kembali, seolah-olah terjaga dari tidur, wahai kekasih. Sejak saat itu, Liṅga tersebut masyhur dengan nama “Kāmeśvara”.
