वेत्ता यो वेदविदुषां प्रभुर्यः प्रभवात्मनाम् । सोमभूतस्तु भूतानामग्निभूतोऽग्निवर्त्मनाम्
vettā yo vedaviduṣāṃ prabhuryaḥ prabhavātmanām | somabhūtastu bhūtānāmagnibhūto'gnivartmanām
Dialah yang paling mengetahui di antara para arif Veda, Tuhan bagi segala yang menjadi punca kuasa dan penciptaan. Bagi makhluk bernyawa Dia menjadi Soma; dan bagi mereka yang menempuh jalan api (disiplin yajña), Dia menjadi Agni.
