नक्षत्रं कृत्तिका तुभ्यं गुरुर्देवो महेश्वरः । हिरण्यं च शरीरं ते धाता देवो जनार्दनः । पिता पितामहो देव स्वेन पालय सर्वदा
nakṣatraṃ kṛttikā tubhyaṃ gururdevo maheśvaraḥ | hiraṇyaṃ ca śarīraṃ te dhātā devo janārdanaḥ | pitā pitāmaho deva svena pālaya sarvadā
Asterismamu ialah Kṛttikā; guru ilahimu ialah Maheśvara. Tubuhmu adalah emas; pemeliharamu ialah dewa Janārdana. Wahai dewa, dengan kuasamu sendiri lindungilah kami sentiasa—sebagai bapa dan juga datuk moyang.
