ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि उत्तंकेश्वरमुत्तमम् । तस्यैव दक्षिणे भागे नातिदूरे व्यवस्थितम् । स्थापितं च स्वयं भक्त्या उत्तंकेन महात्मना

īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi uttaṃkeśvaramuttamam | tasyaiva dakṣiṇe bhāge nātidūre vyavasthitam | sthāpitaṃ ca svayaṃ bhaktyā uttaṃkena mahātmanā

Īśvara bersabda: Kemudian, wahai Mahādevī, hendaklah pergi kepada Uttaṅkeśvara yang paling utama. Ia terletak di bahagian selatan, tidak jauh, dan telah didirikan oleh Uttaṅka yang berhati agung sendiri, dengan bhakti.
