महानवम्यां यस्तत्र नारी वाथ नरोपि वा । नानापूजोपचारैश्च पूजयेद्विधिवच्छुभाम्
mahānavamyāṃ yastatra nārī vātha naropi vā | nānāpūjopacāraiśca pūjayedvidhivacchubhām
Pada hari Mahānavamī, sesiapa yang berada di sana—sama ada wanita atau lelaki—hendaklah memuja Dewi yang suci lagi membawa berkat menurut tatacara, dengan pelbagai persembahan dan penghormatan.
